Jesus + The Holy Spirit

Jesus needed the Holy Spirit to complete his mission, just as we need the Holy Spirit to complete ours. It is impossible for us to live our lives as Christians without the Spirit of God. After He was baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and settling on Him, and behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”- Matthew 3:16-17 NASB “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,    because he has anointed me        to bring glad tidings to the poor.He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives    and recovery of sight to the blind,        to let the oppressed go free,- Luke 4:18 NABRE We also meditate on Matthew 1:18 and John 5:19.Because Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit, he was able to connect to his Father in Heaven.
