Jesus the True Temple (Luke 19:41-48)

Today, we will focus our attention on Luke 19:35-48. Jesus is angry at lifeless religion that misleads and exploits people and the purposes of God. He is not deceived by religious pretense and sets himself to overturn it. Jesus brings us back to what it's all about - relationship with God. He is the one who restores purpose and opens the way into God's presence. For the one who longs for true worship, Jesus is the true temple. Come to him and find free access to God's compassion and life.
