Jesus You're All I Need? Ep. 206
from The Rocky Brown Podcast · host Rocky Brown
“‘Jesus, You’re all I need.’ It sounds spiritual. It sounds passionate. It sounds worshipful. But have we stopped to ask whether modern Christianity has become so centered on Jesus in isolation that many believers barely acknowledge the Father or the Holy Spirit anymore? The Bible does not reveal a disconnected Christ detached from the Father and the Spirit. Scripture reveals that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit —work together in perfect unity through creation, redemption, salvation, sanctification and everyday life.Yet much of modern worship language has reduced Christianity into a Jesus-only emotional experience while neglecting the fullness of what Scripture actually teaches about the matter. In this message, we’re going to examine whether some of the phrases we sing, say and repeat are biblically accurate, or whether emotion has replaced scriptural precision. Because true worship is not built merely on what feels powerful — it is built on truth.” What feels powerful isn’t always true and what is true doesn’t always feel powerful.Send us Fan Mail Support the show
