People think they can’t live without a lot of things. But increasingly so, people are becoming more and more convinced that they can live without God. When was the last time you heard someone say: I can’t live without God in my life, I can’t live without Jesus like the very food and water I depend on to live and thrive. Jesus often taught people that He was the Bread of Life and that He was able to give people living water. What does this mean? In today's lesson, we'll look at the Old Testament passages that give us the context for understanding the Messiah as the One who truly satisfies and transforms us by giving us the Holy Spirit.
