A comienzos del año, en enero de 1975, inauguran sus propios estudios de grabación. Llevan por nombre Maison Rouge, y poseían un estudio móvil. Aquí se grabarían la casi totalidad de sus siguientes álbumes. En septiembre sale a la venta un nuevo álbum, el octavo de estudio: "Minstrel in the Gallery", que en un principio se iba a llamar Tears in the eye of the Minstrel (Lágrimas en los ojos del juglar), pero posteriormente Ian Anderson cambió el nombre y se llamó de la forma que he nombrado al principio, que significa: "El Juglar en el Anfiteatro".
