Jews Come in All Hues (but Kanye isn’t one of them)

This week Chalin is joined by Jared Jackson, founder of Jews in All Hues to discuss the complex intersection of white supremacy, antisemitism, Jewish identity and how- somehow- rapper and businessman Ye (Kanye West) fits in. White supremacy has always sought to expel and harm Jews, but that isn’t the whole story of antisemtism. In light of Kanye’s recent Jew hateful rhetoric we wanted to complicate the conversation to include both the Black Hebrew Israelite movement and gatekeeping within Jewish circles that alienates Jews of color.
