I am very sure you must have heard this question so many times. What have been YOUR answer? You must have made statements expressing your faith. But, are they REAL? More than WHAT (WHO) you see HOW you see is more important! How do YOU see Jesus? St. John of the Cross (1542-1591), one of the greatest Christian mystics, changed HIS views about Jesus after his encounter with Jesus. After that, he said, हे प्रभु, मैं अब से तुझे शरीर की आँखों से नहीं देखूँगा... " Lord, I shall see you no more with the eyes of the flesh..." What does that mean? It is to say, 'Lord, I shall see you only with the eyes of faith'. Before his encounter with the Risen Lord, St. Paul saw Jesus with the eyes of flesh. After his conversion, he proclaimed, "इसलिए हम अब से किसी को भी दुनिया की दृष्टि से नहीं देखते। हमने मसीह को पहले दुनिया की दृष्टि से देखा, किन्तु अब हम ऐसा नहीं करते।" (कुरिन्थियों के नाम सन्त पौलुस का दूसरा पत्र 5:16) "From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once knew Christ from a human point of view, we know him no longer in that way." (2 Corinthians 5:16) How we see has a lot of effect on us!
