Jim Grant and I crossed paths during his hosting of Comedy Club events when I moved from Hampshire to Sussex in the turn of the millennium.  Jim then offered me some open mic spots where I tried out some new material and that was my first experience of working comedy club audiences. I loved it, it felt like a whole new world to me and since then I have enjoyed some great Comedy Club style crowds from Pubs to London's Southbank at the Udderbelly.Jim knows his Comedy venues, audiences and which fellow comedians are right for that setting. In todays chat he talks in detail about why an audience may be difficult on certain nights.
