Jim Jordan does Elon Musk's bidding, sends "preservation letter" demands to Twitter board members

The pervasive abuse of the legislative process by some Republican politicians suggests we are living in an age of "gangster government": Kevin McCarthy threatens telecom companies in an effort to dissuade them from cooperating with the House select committee investigating the insurrection; Ron DeSantis uses legislation to punish Disney for criticizing his divisive educational positions; and now Jim Jordan does Elon Musk's bidding by sending quasi-threatening letters to Twitter's board members telling them to preserve all communications about why there were resisting Musk's efforts to buy Twitter. Whether we call it "gangster government" or "legislative terrorism", something must be done to address the rampant abuse of office, on political power and of the legislative process.
