Jim Samra serves as the senior pastor of Calvary Church where his main responsibility is to lead others in worship of God. In addition to published articles and book reviews, he is the author of several books. His most recent publication is an allegory style novel entitled "Passage to the House of Power: a Prophetic Parable" Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master of Theology in New Testament and Pastoral Ministries from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Philosophy in New Testament from the University of Oxford in England." Jim and his wife Lisa are the proud parents of four awesome children. In this podcast, Pastor Jim Samra describes how the American Church is being lovingly but firmly "pruned" by our Lord to help rid us of our love of this world so we can truly BE the church He desires us to be. As a result, Jim is actually optimistic that, as we increasingly trust and obey the Lord and as we unite with our fellow believers, we will see many lives impacted for eternity.
