Jim Schlossnagle on Texas Baseball’s Undefeated Record, 100th Win & Team Growth

We talk to Texas Baseball Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle after a successful sweep at the Bruce Bolt Classic in Houston and a victory on Tuesday against Houston Christian. We congratulated him on his 100th head-coaching victory. He gives the details of the agreement with Junior Infielder Casey Borba, which led him to grow out his mustache. He talked about the success of Senior Infielder Temo Becca, who won SEC Player of the Week. Coach explained to us what needs to happen to continue the current success. Schlossanagle talked about what help the team needed to get prepared to play in a major league park for the Bruce Bolt Classic. Coach Schlossnagle discussed the growth of Sophomore Outfield Jonah Williams and outlined the path for him to continue to progress. He gave his reaction to the monstrous homerun by Junior Outfield Aiden Robbins over the train tracks at Daiken Park. We asked him about the details of why it got chippy in the game with Ohio State.
