Jim Wayne on Kindness and Care in Politics, Mental Healthcare, and Leadership

Jim Wayne is a psychotherapist, business owner, a novelist, and for almost three decades until 2019, an elected representative in the Kentucky House. He’s been a tireless advocate for tax reforms, concern for the poor, and mental health care concerns. He’s also a person for whom prayer, meditation, and religious belonging have played an important role in the person he is, the commitments he holds, and how he does his work.
