Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Jimena Buena Vida is a thirty-eight-year-old artist and mother based in the USA.       Jimena is passionate about using her intuition to explore the intersections between art, emotions, and technology, bringing together her background in engineering and computer science with her love for colorful, contemporary, and abstract art. She's always discovering and exploring new styles, methods, and palettes in her artwork, which evokes emotions of vulnerability and courage in its exploration of the minimal elements of form, color, structure, and space. Jimena's approach to painting is to maintain spontaneity and freedom. Life changes. It has ups and downs. Negative thoughts cloud our heads holding us back.
