At age 84, legendary radio dj, television personality, philanthropist, and English Knight, Sir James Wilson Savile – better known as “Jimmy Savile” died in his home. Born in Leeds, in West Yorkshire, he was the youngest of seven children and grew up in a pious Roman Catholic family. His father, a bookmaker’s clerk was once described by Jimmy as “scrupulously honest but scrupulously broke.” His mother, Agnes, seemed to have a special bond with her youngest child.
