First his family immigrated from Pakistan to Canada when he was a young boy, and then, decades later, Jimmy moved his family from Canada to the US for work. When Jimmy’s immigration lawyer asked him to photocopy and send over all his immigration docs for his US visa application, the software engineer in Jimmy said, “there must be a better way.” It started as a private FTP server to share documents securely with this lawyer.
