四月里，一天中午，在维申斯克镇西金村上空出现了一架飞机。孩子、妇女和老头子们一听见发动机低沉的轰鸣声，就都从屋子里跑了出来;仰起脑袋，把手巴掌遮在眼睛上，盯着看了好久，看着飞机在笼罩着一层薄露的天空中侧着身子，像老鹰一样绕圈子。发动机的响声越来越大、越来越刺耳。飞机在村外的牧场上选了—片着陆的平地,开始下降。
