If you live in NYC or Silicon Valley, then sure... most start-ups aren't using PHP to build their app.But, everywhere else?In the freelance world?PHP is still damn dominant. And, absolutely worth learning. In any case, in this podcast episode I go through that answer and give my thoughts on why PHP is still worth learning AND learning as your first server-side language.
