Jo Adell Returns to Angel Stadium | Cleveland Guardians News

Jo Adell is back in Anaheim, ready to face the Angels—the team that drafted him first overall in 2017 and where he spent nine seasons, including career highs in homers and RBIs. Traded to the Guardians on an off day in August, he’s already making a splash in Cleveland with a hot start, including a career-high six-RBI game and a record-breaking homer. Despite a knee injury forcing him out briefly, he’s returned stronger, hitting nearly .400 with power and consistency. Manager Stephen Vogt praised his impact, calling him a welcome addition who fits perfectly into a lineup that needs big-time production. Adell’s return isn’t just about stats—it’s about reconnecting with fans and proving what he brings to the table, while acknowledging baseball’s business side and wishing his former teammates well.
