Joan handles her daughter's low during the podcast

Joan Grindell's daughter Aleah was 10 when Aleah diagnosed herself with type 1 diabetes. Two days in the hospital and then right after they get home they follow through on their plans to throw a sweet-16 party for Aleah's sister. Joan shares how she finally stopped crying about it all and has to text Aleah while we talk because Aleah has come home from school with low blood sugar.
