Joanne Mitchell joins us to talk manufacturing and engineering. She worked for 29 years at Sandvik cutting tools and now she is giving back to the industry by helping to train and recruit the new engineers of the future. Joanne is currently helping the Bergen County New Jersey Workforce Development to put people together with employers and also work with employers to help them fill careers. There is a lot of services available in the way of software training and job skills as well as some job counseling available. Joanne also is involved with the northern New Jersey manufacturing partnership to help manufacturers in NJ get the resources and connections with education that will build educational programs that include usable skills for manufacturing disciplines.
