Joao Pedro Hat-Trick Lights Up Pre-Season | Chelsea F.C. News

Chelsea stunned Western Sydney Wanderers with a wild 6-4 pre-season win, fueled by a breakout performance from Joao Pedro, who scored a rapid-fire hat-trick after coming on as a substitute. The match was a rollercoaster, with Wanderers leading three times, but Xabi Alonso’s halftime adjustments reignited Chelsea. Youngsters Dastan Satpayev and Dario Essugo opened the scoring, while midfielders Reggie Walsh and Watson showed promise. However, defensive vulnerabilities remain glaring—Chelsea conceded four goals against a less experienced side, exposing shaky backline play. Alonso now faces urgent questions about how to fix these issues before the season starts. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
