Jobbing Out - May 11, 2017 (Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and Lee England Jr.)

from Jobbing Out · host JobbingOut

New episode, and a new open for the guys! They talk about the week that was in NOT-wrestling, before getting into the grappling of the week. They start with RAW, where Glenn hates the UK, AJ is convinced that Braun Strowman's injury isn't real, and Aaron thinks this could actually be the beginning of something for the Golden Truth. Segment 2 (30:00) starts off in a major way, as they're joined by Lee England Jr, who you may know as the badass on the violin who joins Shinsuke Nakamaura for major entrances. They talk about how he got involved with wrestling, what makes his relationship with Nakamura work so well, and what he sees for the future, including Wrestlemania. That segues into a Smackdown discussion, where they absolutely nailed the Nakamura segment. Plus, talk about Jinder Mahal of course, Breezango and the Smackdown tag division, and who will end up turning heel between the Smackdown faces. In segment 3 (1:06:30) they're joined by Hall of Famer Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, who will be competing (yes, competing!) for Primal Conflict Wrestling. He shares stories from Washington DC and Baltimore before getting into his career. He talks about being a heel and breaking Wahoo's leg, who he thinks should be in the Hall of Fame, and what it's like still working today. Plus, he shares his thoughts on what's wrong with wrestling these days. After they let Valentine go, the guys wrap up with talk about ROH, NXT, plus...President Rock?
