HEALING SCHOOL & MIRACLE SERVICE: The whole issue of whether we receive anything from God hinges on the foundation of righteousness. If we cannot get secure in righteousness, it will hinder everything we want to receive from the Lord. When we attempt to stand on our ability to "do everything right," then condemnation keeps us from receiving when we've missed it. In Job's affliction, he faced the same struggles with his thoughts that we all face as Christians; when the enemy afflicted Job, he did it on the foundation of righteousness. But when Job finally stood up and arrayed himself like a man, and began praying for his friends, his health was restored.
