SAfm — Joburg residents will be without water for two and a half days next week. Rand water is planning a major water shut down for 54 hours from Monday 24th. Joburg Water says Rand Water, which is the main bulk water supplier is planning a major water shutdown that will affect ALL its reservoirs and towers. Nico de Jager, MMC for environment and infrastructure services says this would result in the limited water supply to all Rand Water customers.
