Joe Carlen is the co-founder of Value Guards, LLC and a practitioner of business valuation, patent valuation, and market assessment. He has consulted for hundreds of entrepreneurs and companies over the past fifteen years including Westinghouse and Unicom Technology.   He has a Masters of Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon, is a Certified Valuation Analyst, and has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
