We reflect on St. Ignatius’s prayer, discuss the USCCB’s role versus diocesan authority, and revisit Archbishop Viganò’s rise, controversies, and excommunication—contrasting obedience and conscience while recalling Vatican dynamics and recent church figures. From there, we delve into the current Iran conflict, Israel–US decision-making, and why many outspoken critics today are Catholics—highlighting voices like Candace Owens, Carrie Boller, and Joe Kent. We examine claims about diplomatic openings, preemption rationales echoed by US officials, and the moral responsibilities of Catholics in public life. We close with thoughts on liturgy, hymnody influences, and the hope that clear speech, prayer, and principled witness can help avert a wider war. We end in prayer, entrusting these turbulent times to Our Lady and St. Joseph, and praying for peace, truth, and courage for the Church and our nation.
