Joe Konopacki, Energy Audits and inspection

This week's guest is Joe Konopacki. Joe is the President & CEO, Insight Property Services, Inc. With his BS in General Engineering from UIUC and over 30 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, maintenance, and management, Joe became an Illinois licensed Home Inspector in 2008. After realizing the limitations of traditional home inspections, Joe became BPI & RESNET certified to perform home energy auditing and diagnostic performance testing. He established Insight Property Services, Inc. in 2009 to offer Performance Testing, Energy Audits, BPI Training and more. As Insight's lead instructor, Joe's trainings & educational sessions prepare consultants & contractors to perform high quality testing and retrofit work that measurably improves the comfort, efficiency and air quality of homes.
