from MLB Baseball News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Joe Mack just turned heads in a Marlins win over the Phillies, smashing a homer, driving in two, and scoring three in a breakout performance. At just 23, the rookie catcher is on fire—hitting .471 in his last six games and posting an OPS near 1.0 in June. With veterans like Lopez and Edwards carrying the load, Mack’s surge is making him a serious Rookie of the Year contender. His call-up came after Augustin Ramirez’s struggles, and now Mack’s hot streak could be the spark the Marlins need for their playoff push. Can he keep it up? The answer might just define his season.
