Joe Pug dives into The Marinade. Joe Pug is a singer, songwriter, and podcaster whose work has meant so much to me since I was introduced to his music over a decade ago. Pug has released a handful of excellent full length studio albums, a couple of equally outstanding EPs, and a must listen live record, Live at Lincoln Hall which includes Pug's friend the great Strand of Oaks. His most recent album The Diving Sun is one of my favorite records of the year. In addition to music, Pug has a fantastic podcast called The Working Songwriter where he has hosted the likes of Brian Koppelman, Ray Wylie Hubbard, John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, Todd Snider, and more.
