Joel Shadbolt: L.A.B. Frontman on the band joining the line up for the 2027 Manuka Phuel Synthony Festival

The ever-expanding Manuka Phuel Synthony Festival is officially returning in March next year.  The first performers have been announced, and on performing alongside the likes of Paul Okenfold and Ladyhawke is New Zealand’s own L.A.B.  They’ve gone from strength to strength since their conception a decade ago and show no signs of slowing down – continuing to punch out hit after hit.  Frontman Joel Shadbolt told Jack Tame they’d been approached to play at Synthony before, and they finally agreeed.  “It’s one of those gigs that, yeah, like you said, it’s just massive, y’know, and the production and the crowd and every year it just seems to get bigger and bigger,” he said.  “It’s one of the biggest stages that we would have played on.”  LISTEN ABOVE  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
