Joey Chammaa Joins SJSU, Boosts Spartans' Backcourt

Joey Chammaa, a redshirt junior guard, joins San José State from Arkansas State, earning Sun Belt Sixth Man of the Year honors last season. Known for his aggressive, fast-paced game, Chammaa averaged 9.9 points, 1.8 assists, and 0.9 steals per game, shooting 42% from the field, 33% from three, and 80% from the free throw line. His scoring punch and free-throw reliability should boost the Spartans backcourt depth for the 2026-2027 season. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
