Joey Raia

On today's episode of Hangout with Sujata, Joey Raia shares his life's journey with Sujata. Joey was born and raised on Long Island, New York. Joey grew up in a traditional Italian-American family, where food, culture, family and friends where most in important. It was here where Joey learned his love for cooking and decided to pursue a career in culinary arts. In 1992, Joey moved to Norfolk, Virginia to attend Johnson and Wales. It was in Norfolk where Joey met his wife of 28 years. They have raised 3 beautiful daughters. Joey spent 28 years in a professional kitchen. He now currently works for Grande Cheese Company, working as a sales associate in the Mid-Atlantic.
