John 11:17-27 Devotional
from The Simple Christian Hosted by Josue
Heres my first attempt to a Devotion. I hope you guys are blessed by it. We can see here that Jesus arrives where Lazarus has happened to be deceased. Confronted by Martha (his sister), Jesus is questioned on why he didn't arrive earlier. After a few bits of Dialogue, Martha understand that none of this has been ever out of the mind of God. Jesus being a friend of Lazarus (John 11:11) had a deep care for him. Why does Jesus wait 4 days when he could have just went for the rescue the moment he died? ultimately, Christ brings Glory to Himself by making a public display of His majesty by raising Lazarus from the dead in the public setting. clearing all doubts but also bringing Hope of the Savior to all.
