John 17:1-26

Lesson 29 of 33.On the way to the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus lifts his eyes to heaven and begins to pray. In a way, part of His prayer reminds us of a teacher or rabbi reporting on His students: “I have manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world; thine they were, and thou gavest them to me, and they have kept thy word.”Part of it reminds us of a shepherd reporting on the care of His sheep: “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name; those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost . . .” Transcript is here: https://closerlook.ca/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/John17_01-26.pdf
