John 3:1-17 - You Must Be Born Again (Ep.021), A. Second Sunday in Lent

from The Easy English Bible Study Podcast · host davidandemi

In this episode I read John 3:1-17. I give comments on this reading in easy to understand English. You can contact me (David Gray) or give me helpful feedback on this podcast at [email protected] I hope this helps you study the Bible and improve your English at the same time. In this reading, Jesus teaches Nicodemus. Jesus tells him that to see the kingdom of God you must be born again. Nicodemus does not understand Jesus and thinks Jesus is talking about being born again physically. However, Jesus is talking about being born again spiritually. Jesus also explains that “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Nicodemus has trouble understanding Jesus but he listened to Jesus and followed Jesus. Many times in life we have trouble understanding what God is doing in our lives. Let us keep looking to Jesus even when we don’t understand.
