John 4:39-45

We often see people turn to God when something goes awry in their lives and they desperately need help. And people sometimes become Christians because they think it will bring them happiness and prosperity. But today, Pastor Mark challenges these approaches. Jesus came not to perform, but to love. When you look at your prayer life, how much of it is asking for help, versus simply loving God? Today, Pastor Mark will issue you a challenge: go just a few minutes in prayer without asking for anything. Instead, just be with Him. You’ll find that your love for Jesus will grow, and that’s all that’s important anyway.
