John 5:30-47: The Witnesses

In John Chapter 5, Jesus heals an invalid who was disabled for 38 years. The Jews find fault with Jesus because he healed someone on the Sabbath day and they charged him with breaking the law. Jesus the goes on to present four witnesses that prove his identity, his task, and his authority. Jesus’ witnesses are: John the Baptist, the works Jesus did, God the Father’s testimony, and the scriptures.
