Jesus tells the Jews who believed in Him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”If you look back at John 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life'.” This shows that truth isn’t just an idea; it’s a person. Knowing Jesus is knowing the truth that brings true freedom: freedom from guilt, shame, fear, and ultimately eternal separation from God.
