Have you ever wondered why you don’t find a lion in a petting zoo? Well, there aren’t very many people who would feel safe approaching a lion without some sort of barrier to protect them! So why do so many Christians flirt with temptation, knowing full well that it would be better for them to run the other way? A Christian’s reaction to temptation should be to turn away and avoid sin at all costs. Pastor Mark teaches you today that freedom in Christ is given freely, but it can be difficult to maintain. If you don’t guard your heart from temptation, and seek the things of God instead, you may allow the chains of sin to bind you.
