John Aiken Joins South Alabama Men's Basketball

South Alabama Men’s Basketball just brought in a coaching veteran—John Aiken, with nearly 20 years of college hoops experience, including stints at UT Martin, McNeese, and Nicholls, plus two seasons as head coach at McNeese. Aiken helped McNeese reach the Southland Tournament semifinals in 2022 and 2023, developing standout talent. Head Coach Richie Riley, who knows Aiken from their successful tenure at Nicholls (35 wins, two conference titles), calls him a game-changer—organized, personable, and a major asset. Aiken’s arrival adds depth and proven leadership to the Jaguars’ rebuild. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
