John Chapters 11-12

In this episode, we read John chapters 11 and 12, where Jesus reveals His power over life and death and prepares for the final stage of His mission. In chapter 11, Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead, demonstrating that He is “the resurrection and the life” and showing His deep compassion even in moments of grief. Chapter 12 shifts toward the final days before the cross, including Mary anointing Jesus, His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, and His teachings about His coming death. As belief and opposition both grow stronger, Jesus makes it clear that following Him means walking in the light and trusting in Him fully. John 11–12 reminds us that Jesus has authority over life itself and calls us to respond with faith, devotion, and a willingness to follow Him, even when the path is difficult.
