John Chapters 18-19

In this episode, we read John chapters 15 through 17, where Jesus shares some of His most personal and powerful teachings with His disciples before His arrest. He describes Himself as the true vine, calling His followers to remain in Him in order to bear fruit and live meaningful, faithful lives. Jesus emphasizes love, obedience, and the work of the Holy Spirit, preparing His disciples for both the challenges ahead and the mission they are called to carry. In chapter 17, Jesus offers a heartfelt prayer — praying for His disciples and for all future believers — asking for unity, protection, and a deep relationship with God. John 15–17 reminds us that true life is found in staying connected to Jesus, loving others as He has loved us, and trusting in God’s presence and purpose even in difficult seasons.
