John Durrant Larkin was extremely prominent in building out the booming Larkin district right on the border of the City of Buffalo and South Buffalo. From Soap manufacturing to now bringing in corporate partners to occupy the space, Larkin has had quite the impact that is still being utilized today. Larkin also worked with fellow Buffalo Prominent figure Frank Lloyd Wright to build out the area, which is why there are multiple homages to him throughout the city.
