Vi har träffat John Ekström som är CEO och grundare till företaget John Henric. Tillsamman med sin studiekompis Nicklas Nordbergh startades de företaget 2008. När de startade verksamheten valde de göra det som grossist. De plockade fram en kollektion och började åka runt till butiker för att presentera sina produkter. Länge fick de kämpa och inget till kom gratis, men lite i taget byggde de ett varumärke. I bakhuvudet låg hela tiden tanken på att lansera varumärkesbutiker där de kunde sälja sitt eget sortiment. Efter några år gjorde de slag i sak och idag har de flera butiker i både Sverige och i övriga Europa. De tvekade länge men valde till slut att lansera en e-handel. Då de redan hade ett hyfsat varumärke trodde de att de skulle få mycket gratis. Men nej! Det var som att starta ett helt nytt företag. John lärde sig allt om e-handelsplattformar och SEO och satte igång verksamheten.
