Kennedy, and he once said:"Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride."Now, I don’t know if JFK was thinking about Ride to Work Day when he said that, but it fits perfectly. There’s something almost magical about the simplicity of riding a bike. The wind in your face, the rhythmic spinning of the wheels, the complete freedom of controlling your pace. Plus, no traffic jams. Just you, your wheels, and maybe a couple of squirrels running across the street.Kennedy’s quote reminds us that joy often comes from the little things—the uncomplicated pleasures we sometimes overlook. And riding to work, or anywhere really, taps into that same sense of childlike freedom. It’s a reminder that not everything has to be about efficiency or productivity. Sometimes, it’s okay to slow down and enjoy the ride—literally.So, whether you’re already biking to work, or today’s the day you’ll give it a try, take a moment to enjoy that simplicity.
