John Flint – leading the investment in the UK’s net-zero future

The growing crisis in Europe and the UK is highlighting the increasing urgency of energy self-sufficiency. And in a decarbonising world, that energy needs to be clean and sustainable if countries are to meet ambitious climate targets. We’re joined by John Flint, Chief Executive of the UK Infrastructure Bank. The Bank’s two main objectives are to support the UK to reach carbon net-zero, and to enable local and regional economic growth.  In this wide-ranging discussion, we talk about the importance of the Bank’s mission, the projects the Bank has supported so far, and the particular challenges posed by the current economic situation in the UK and Europe.
