John Giannandrea Named New Google Head of Search

John Giannandrea is named Google's new Head of Search, replacingAmit Singhal who is leaving Google. Giannandreawas the Google executive behind their recent forays into machine learning in search, including RankBrain. He has been with Google since 2010.
