He's an ordained elder in the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America), with whom he planted a church in Washington in the 80's and 90's, and has been teaching at Covenant Seminary since the early 90's.  His research interests include studies in linguistics and biblical languages, biblical interpretation, and science and the Christian faith. He's written numerous books and commentaries on the bible, as well as a multitude of scholarly journals, and speaks at conferences on science and theology throughout the country. Join us as Dr. Collins describes the relationship of the Bible and Science, how to read the Bible in the way it was meant to be read, seemingly scientific texts in the Bible, and apologetics and science!
