John List - Part 1

In this episode we discuss a true crime classic, John Emil List. On November 9, 1971, John List murdered his wife, three children and his mother before he disappeared without a trace. He became one of the FBI’s most wanted men and evaded capture for 18 years. In part one of this two-part episode, we talk about John’s upbringing in Michigan, the early years of his married life and how things began to fall apart after the Lists purchased the mansion known as Breeze Knoll in Westfield, New Jersey.
