Introducing the Splinter EP, a collaboration between all resident artists of our West Coast based label collective, From 0-1. Each artist on the V/A EP was required to submit a sample pack of originals stems to a pool from which we drew to create the tracks in this release. The Automatic Message from Vancouver, BC opens up the EP with their signature dark and brooding sound. Seattle artist, Sone follows up in standard fashion with a deep looping driven device, SF/Oakland based Rubidium delivers an aggressive track with full bore cutty vibes. Also from the Bay Area, JX-216 (aka Milkplant) issues an acidy, tough, tribal version, and John Massey from Seattle takes it funky and deep with his trademark beat.
